baby clothing dilemma!

Ok, so I'm having my second boy in January. I saved all of my son's clothes who is now 4 1/2, but he was born in April. I know I can still use some of them like sleepers but the majority of the clothes i can't use right away because they're short sleeved. I am not going to get a lot of newborn clothes because of how fast they grow, so i know i need mainly 0-3 month stuff that suits the cold season. So, my question is, how much should i buy in 0-3 months to make it until the end of April when it gets warm? Once it gets warm in April, i have enough  0-3, 3-6 and 6-9 to last me through the warm/hot season. I just don't want to buy too much.

I agree with degriffdog..you can buy some long sleeved onsies and it would let you be able to use your sons clothes right away. And then just buy a few bottoms.

You can always buy long sleeve white onesis' and have a layered look. Then he would be able to wear the short sleeve items you saved.  You can buy a couple of solid pants. Like what gerber makes.   I have had 3 born in fall/winter and honestly sometimes it's easier to keep them in their light sleepers.  Don't forget to get a knit hat too.  Good luck.
