baby rash

My son us 3wks old. I was wondering about diaper rashes. He has a bit of a rash under his scrotum. I'm wondering if this is normal. Its the only area that has gotten red. I do let him dry out a bit after diaper changes and started putting Desitin diaper cream on it. Any suggestions on making it go away? Tia!

With my first son he had it bad and his doc said to mix a&d with milk of magnicia(sorry spells wrong) it does not mix that well so stir before UAE but it worked sooooo good

Butt paste works great, but our pediatrician also suggested to stop using wipes and use damp cloths instead because of the irritants in baby wipes, until the rash goes away!

Desitin made my babies worse. Use pure corn starch.

Okay ill def give that a try!  Thank you!  Where can I find butt paste? Im in Canada if that makes a difference lol

I love butt paste. I think it works better than desitin. Also try putting Vaseline and sprinkle some corn starch on it and that works miracles more than anything!  Good luck!
