Hi am in 31 weeks for my second baby. Random blood sugar level is 161. Is it okay? Or it causes any problem? Also Hb is 9. Please suggest. Am worried so much.

Yes 160 is to high! And do you mean your iron was 9?

Blood glucose needs to be controlled or diabetic fetopathy can result.

Im a t2 diabetic n that is high even after eating it should be 130 or less 1hour after eating and in fasting it should be 90 or less i would call doctor n tell how high ur sugars are cuase that can harm baby

95 and below during fasting and 120 and below two to three hours after eating that's what my dietician said is normal.

My Dr told MD if my sugar got above 140 2 hrs after eating to call the office tosee if diet is the cause or if diabetes isn't being controlled well by diet alone. So depending on how long it was after eating I'd say call Dr.

You say Hb is 9. Do you mean your HbA1C?

It depends on when the blood sugar was taken. If you were fasting then it's extremely high I'd you had just eaten and depending on what you ate it could be okay.
