Breastfeeding also helps reduce the risk of Brest and ovarian cancer. So many more pluses to breastfeeding. It also helps your womb to snap back to its smaller shape quicker.

Breastfeeding made me retain water weight. I didn't get back to my prepregnancy until i stopped breastfeeding but i assume every women is different

I love to breastfeed, I've done it for all of my babies, I'm back to my original weight by a month at the most and its great for bonding with baby.

I snapped right back into shape with breast feeding both my children. Hopefully I can do it this time round aswell. Saves pennies to which is alway a bonus :-)

Breastfeeding burns up to 600 calories a dsy... but the thing is, is that you will also crave those 600 extra calories a day. I breast fed for 13 months and dind lose weight from strictly breast feeding

Sure does! Helps your uterus shrink down faster after you have baby. It also burns 500 extra calories per day! I was my pre pregnancy weight by 2 weeks post partum with my first baby and we were exclusively breast feeding. Great stuff!!
