breastfeeding

Does any you breastfeeding mom have an idea why my breast be hurting n burns... I had my baby girl, she's almost 1months now n nothin seems to relieve this pain :(
just wondering what it could be.

Could be a plugged duct. Mastitis is usually with a fever. Another possibility is yeast infection. Good luck Mama.

Thanks ladies..I gave lactation a call waiting on a call back... it hurts more when milk is comin in and I start leaking on one breast.

If you have any red streaking go to your doctor because it could be mastisis.  I had that with my last baby and you need meds for that.

No..sounds bad. I'd go see a lactation nurse if I were you.

It's only on my left breast. She latch good and I also pump as well.

U might be engorged and baby is not latching on correctly, u have to be careful cuz not relieving the engorgement can cause mastitis which is an infection of ur milks ducts.  Call ur Dr and see what the problem is, cuz mastitis I heard is really painful.  Also keep pumping to keep ur milk up and get the milk out..
