choking

Lately i have been choking on water, icecream and even my own spit. It can be scary sometimes. Does anyone else have this symptom while being newly pregnant?

Its been happening to me too for the last few weeks and im almost 32 weeks. I actually threw up today coughing so hard after I choked on some water.

Omg I had this a few weeks ago all of a sudden and only during one week. For me it was ice cream that was the one that stuck out. I was petrified because it's so hard to catch your breath between coughs and it seemed nothing would clear my throat.  Just be careful

I noticed that when i brush my teeth i have a very strong gag reflex. It seems that nothing can go near the back of my throat anymore without having that reflex.  I suppose it's the body's way of making sure nothing harmful gets in to affect the baby. (I havent had it with food though).

I noticed I have a little trouble swallowing food of any kind.. it seems like it will not go down..
