cigarettes

I am pregnant with my 4th baby and I have always been able to just quit the second I had that positive pregnancy test. For some reason with this pregnancy it is so much harder for me. Nothing I have tried is working. I don't want to use the patch or anything like that. I just want to be done with nicotine.  Any advice or tricks that y'all could share would be greatly appreciated.  TIA!!

I feel your pain! I've cut way down, but I'm finding it very hard to stop this time. And there is so much judgement from people who have never been in the same situation.

Yea, it a stress thing for me too. I call it "my time out". I go outside away from the kids and away from my husband and smoke a cig calm down and then when I'm done come in. I need to find new ways to deal with stress.  I have no clue what to do.

My job makes it incredibly difficult for me to quit. More than half of my coworkers smoke. And I have 14 clients I see every week and 10 of them smoke heavily. When I'm home I don't really smoke at all. Its just a habit for me. And a huge stress reliever

Well do you know why you smoke? It sounds stupid but you know some people smoke bc of stress, some people just feel the need to have a something in theyre mouth, theres different reasons and if you know yours it might be easier to figure something out :)

I myself am on the same boat. I quit for my first but I seem to crave cigs so bad with this pregnancy. Try to cut down as much as you can. I smoke a 1/2 of a cigarette at a time a d limit it to 4 cigs a day. Which is not too bad. If you can get under a half a pack that's better.
