I was told around 13 weeks she was pretty sure it was a girl and had to be pretty sure in order to say something bc I already have 2 boys but she said in 4 weeks we would confirm so I waited 2 weeks and had a 3d scan done and confirmed it was a girl then of course went back to my doc at closer to 20 weeks and still a girl and at about 28 weeks I made them do a sono bc I was still unsure my self maybe just the hormones lol but she zoomed in on the girl parts and said see this is this and that and printed off the pic and said if u are feeling doubtful look and this pic lol. Iv heard all the story's of baby's coming out boys or it being called a girl and getting the last and final scan and it turned up to be a boy and they said it's a slow grower etc. Even after several times being told it's a girl it's still am doubtful and most likely will be until I deliver lol.

When I went in for my sonogram at 19w5d the ultrasound tech was like "hmm, it kind of looks like a girl" i was like wth "what do you mean 'kind of'" then she reassured me it was a girl. I was still a little hesitant afterwards but I had gotten some test results the day after confirming it was a girl.

If your told at 20 weeks it must be pretty certain. They just don't say the words in a reassuring way so you can't go back and be mad at them.

You have to understand that they can't be 100% sure. But I'm sure it's hard to miss if its a boy..
Keep the tags on everything and have someone shop for stuff for you if it does happen while you're in the hospital.
