confused

OK i had a very early m/c in September i am now pregnant again. I  dont know how far along b/c i didnt have a period in between. I spotted for 4 days brown/light pink which sent me into a complete panic and then it just stopped. I had my levels checked last week 69 on monday and then 80 on wednesday doc says hes concerned about ectopic and immediately jumped to giving me methotrexate  but i have no pain or bleeding at all and they havent even done an ultrasound yet. I think it may be too early to jump to any conclusions?  I dont have many symptoms my breast hurt occasionally and i get nauseated here and there. Im so confused. I really dont even feel pregnant i feel fine just tired but my hpt is still positive and getting darker. I dont see the doctor until tuesday and its driving me crazy not knowing whats going on in there! Has anyone ever had a similar experience and went on to have a viable pregnancy? I'm preparing myself for the worst but i do have a little hope that its just very early on and things will pick up in a few weeks. Any advice? I dont want to terminate my pregnancy before were certain things are not right.

A little bleeding in early pregnancy is actually really common. I am not sure what methotrexate is but but if thats to induce a miscarriage,  I wouldnt do it. Your levels are going up. And I think its very odd that they are pushing for  that without confirmation. My mom was young when pregnant with me and told that I was a cyct they would have to remove. She got a second opinion. And here I am 21 years later. Hoping everything is fine with your little peanut.

I can't imagine a doctor jumping to the conclusion that it's ectopic without a US.

Are you going to have a US on Tuesday?
