Fiber, fiber, fiber! I've been eating mini wheat cereal which has helped alot. Various fruits and Vegetables with the skin on* will help naturally too. I also noticed coconut water helps me go. Every night I take a magnesium supplement before bed as well (clear with your doctor first!). Anyway, regular here since day one. However I am still bloated all the time so I guess that's just one side effect of pregnancy that won't go away. Hope these ideas help you ladies too!

More fiber in the diet should help. Try taking 2 tablespoons of chia seed every morning (I take 2 in the morning, 2 at night). There's 12 g in every oz (2T)so it gives you half of what you need in a day.

This is going to be nasty but my doctor told me to put my fingers in my vagina and to push on the posterior wall to help the bowel movement come out. It sounds and feels disgusting but it works and I had some much relief. I was also told to take a laxative or stool softner to help. Drink lots of water as well.

Try eating prunes and drink lots of water. It happened to me early on. Now when I feel like I'm getting constipated I eat 2-3 prunes with about 2 bottles of water in less than 1hour and 30mins before bed. Not sure if timing has anything to do with it, but it has worked for me. Also, walking about 30 mins daily keeps your metabolism going.

I'm 16 weeks and still have problems going. It seems like I can only go in the mornings. I really haven't tried anything being that I am going in the morning but sometimes it just seems like I'm pushing and pushing and nothings happening. I hope it gets better for you or find something to help you
