hi, I am 29 and currently six weeks with my first pregnancy. I just went to my first doctor's appointment today and I have been experiencing cramping for the last few weeks as well. It feels like I am about to get my period. My Dr said it is completely normal and that your uterus is a muscle so it is stretching and making room for the baby which is what causes the cramping. I also read a bunch of other posts that had like 50 comments and all of the women said the same. As long as you don't have any bleeding or spotting you should be fine.   I hope this helps put your mind at ease. Try not to stress out. Good luck!
