Just keep yourself calm. I work at a dental office and let things be (im saying this with the best at heart. Im not trying to be an a hole). For example if you need an extraction get it done and relax during the procedure. You dont want to tense up because all those emotions go to your baby too and you dont want that. You have your clearance form and they know what to do ;)
You'll be fine and you'll also be glad its over ;)

Of course my OB approved it all with a release form & even faxed the meds that were okay. I was too double coated for xray. I was give pencilin also & they cant put you to sleep so they numb your mouth. I had to get the absess removed because if it would have leaked fluid it could possibly kill me.

I am 25 weeks just had two root canals. They gave me Tylenol 3 and pencillin. I am total against takin medicine. Didn't need the pain meds and had to take the antibiotics. :( sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Everything was fine but if I didn't take care of it it would have been worse later. They double coated for the me for the x ray and the obgyn okayed procedure before hand. Good luck. Just stay calm and listen to that lame music they play and breathe

The dentist won't do anything that will hurt the baby. They are Drs too. Just make them aware you're pregnant, if it's not obvious lol.
