I just barely started trying to stock up on wipes and diapers. Im only buying one brand and all in different sizes, my son wasn't sensitive so im hoping this one wont be either. Im just not working so I want to make sure I have enough stock until I find a job. I can always exchange diapers at Walmart or Target if she is sensitive. Thanks for the ideas, especially like the gift card idea. Im planning to breastfeed so not stocking up on formula.
I did because I found a great deal on Wal-Mart.com a couple months back. I figured if we grow out of a size too fast or allergy I can just exchange. I never bought ahead for my other 2 but if u find a good deal and have the space to put them I say go for it. But like pp I don't pre buy formula because I figure that may be harder to return.
Homemade baby wipes for me. Better for sensitive skin, not drying on skin. I don't want to stock diapers because I have sensitive skin myself and neither my sister nor I could wear more than 1 brand of diapers as babies. I expect my son might get my skin and we will have to try different brands to find a good fit.
I am. I already have a 19 month old in diapers so wipes aren't as necessary to stock up on but I am buying diapers when they are on sale.
I haven't this time. My first two didn't have any issues with brand sensitivity but my second had size issues. His little but grew so fast we would get half way through a box andneed aanother size lol. Then my third was so sensitive that only brand would work for her. So stocking up has only worked for one out of my three kids. I did get a baby themed walmart card to add $10-$20 to every week while pregnant to buy diapers with after baby is born.
We aren't stocking either one. We have a 32 pack of newborn size Huggies and one small pack of wipes.
I've heard about too many moms who went crazy stocking up on diapers but then their babies couldn't fit them or stocking up on wipes only to find out that their baby's skin didn't take to it.
I also recommend not stocking up on formula but buying a small pack, because sometimes their bellies are particular too.
I got a mini stack going on .... but lord knows i need to stock up some more ...
We have so far got our changing table fully stocked ready for our girly as amazon had amazing offers just after Xmas :)
U may not wanna stock up on anything too mich before baby gets here in case they have a allergy to a particular kind or brand unless its within the time u have baby and u can return them
A friend of mine did a baby shower for her and a diaper shower for her bf their baby is 7 months and they just to buy them for the first time
Yeah im not having a baby shower either so im trying to find good deals and coupons. Ralphs (kroger affiliates) have Huggies baby wipes for .99 when you buy 5 in a single transaction. If you have the .75 wipes coupon you can get them for .24 a pack. Pretty cheap
Me! Sams Club has a deal right now for $6 off any box of Huggies. Limit 2 per club member.
That is a very good way to get more diaper, but i'm not having a baby shower so just been looking for deals
At my baby shower im gonna include on the invitations: bring a package of diapers and you will be entered into a drawing for a prize!
The prize will be a starbucks giftcard like $5 lol
I think its a good way to get lots of diapers
