earliest the hospital will tell me sex of Baby?

So I have my scan at 16 weeks it should b my 12 week scan but its late iv had one already 4 weeks ago so know how far I'll be. I know private scan will tell u at 16 weeks but will the hospital? Cz I know tht usually its 20 weeks . I'm too excited to wait ha x

My doctor did blood work to determine the sex at 12 weeks and I'm having a boy

My doctor tried to see at 16 but couldn't only because baby was moving around too much. They should be able to check at 16 weeks, and if they can see I don't know why they wouldn't tell you
