I still eat sushi, docs recommend not to eat it because of the risk of getting an infection, the place I go to I trust 100% they only serve fresh, high quality fish and I haven't had any problems.Just avoid tuna because of the mercury. What do you think Japanese women do when they are pregnant?? Lol
They make sushi with cooked fish too
Yes because of listeria, i had sushi. Just not the raw fish, and i asked mine to b made fresh . And they did.
My doctor has told me that if I wasnt worried about eating it before I was pregnant then I shouldnt worry about it now. I have had it a few times already and everything is fine. I would say go for it, just dont have it everyday!!
Perfectly fine when little one is out and nursing. I think Mahi - Mahi and shark are the main ones to avoid while nursing because of the super high level of mercury. Sushi is so the first thing I eat when this is done :-)
I think it is fine. I breastfeed and i was never told not to eat raw fish... I don't cause I don't like fish but they worry about medicine. Drugs and alcohol. They never said anything about what i eat. They just asked to make sure I do none of the other.
