failed 3 hours test

Im 29w and failed 3 hours test.im so disappointed.i don't knw how it happened. Im waiting for them to call me to atend the classes.after that i have 2 reschedule with my ob to check the baby size.i hope i dont harm my lil man. Im just sooo worry that this diabet stays with me after pregnancy.another thing I'm afraid of is ending up with c-section due to a bug baby because of my failure. Do you know if more walking will be helpfull.i don't know what to expect. I tought I'm  pregnant with no essue and it will be like this and I'll have a good natural birth and we all coming home happy.
But now my head is full of IFs.
I know it may not be a big issue but it is for me,just plz pray for us .
I hope you all the best and safe pregnancy.

Sometimes it's something you can't prevent. From here on out you will have to manage with diet and excercise and possibly medication. Stay away from sugars like soda and desserts. Drink lots of water. When you take the classes they will teach you how and what to eat. It is important to walk after meals it helps regulate your sugar. The important thing here is that you do what you can now for your baby. Most women the gd goes away after pregnancy. I'm diabetic before pregnancy and from the get go I had to follow diet and excercise and be more strict on myself. I'm very resistant so I am on insulin.  But it's all worth it in the end to have a healthy baby. On my uktrasound My baby at 35 weeks was 6 pds 10 ounces and I will be induced at 39 weeks. With your sugar in control your baby shouldn't get too big. Good luck!
