Yup understand same here been there.  My hubbs is pretty understanding for the most part but the whole mood swings took him a while to get used to.  Second trimester was better I'm about a week away from my third trimester and can't wait to hold my little ones on the outside

Thank you ladies for the advice, and least know I know am not the only one with this problem, am taking one day at a time, hopefully these low feelings will pass in the 2nd transmitter if not I will go see my gp,although I've spoken with my partner about it, it seems he quickly forgets, when I have a off day  he then won't speak to me which only makes me worse as sometimes all I need is his reassurance

Thats actually how I first knew I was pregnant and was made me take the tests. I was so irrational and moody and cranky and having my periods for 17 years now (im 29) I'd never experienced PMS like this so I knew something was up and for the first 10 weeks my hormones and emotions were way out of wack and I'd just cry all the time! I know what ur going through and I hope your hormones get straightened out soon!!

I felt the same. Hormones settled down in 2nd trimester and I'm back to normal now (emotionally, not physically!).

Maybe try to explain to your partner that it's irrational and something you can't control, and every little emotion and annoyance is exaggerated by a hundred and that it shouldn't last too long (or it's at least a temporary thing that has an end somewhere - you will become your normal self again at some stage).

My husband thought I was awful and selfish and I had no explanation for my behaviour and no idea how to change. Next pregnancy I'm going to warn him that I'll be an emotional, irrational b itch for 2 months or so unable to act differently and that I still love him and to wait for me on the other side!

This symptom of pregnancy needs way more awareness and education so men and women know what to expect and can get support!

Hang in there momma, hormones can mess with us pretty bad and if things arent working 100% else where it escalates it even more. When im pregnant i can see a sad photo and cry of days about it! Stick to the positive and happy stuff. Take care of yourself and take time out to focus on you. And if it was easy to be a mom a dad would do it. Not all Dads have all the super powers a mom does. We are wired to make our children priority but we need to remember to take care of ourselves too. Good luck mommy!

Talk to your doctor. It is very common. They will suggest counseling or if it gets really bad, meds. It's definitely the hormones :(
