Just got my results and I failed my one hour test. I know have to.do the three hour test. Just wondering how many moms failed the one hour and passed the three hour? And for those.moms who have GD what do you have to do now? How has it changed your pregnancy?

I failed my 1 hr with my 1st pregnancy but passed my 3 hr. I ate cereal and had orange juice before my 1 hr. I fasted before my 3hr and passed. My dr told me if you have anythong with sugar or anything that turns to sugar like carbs it could make you fail. This preg I fasted before my 1 hr and passed.

I failed the one hour and passed my three hour test. But my doc said due to family history and having two big babies my previous pregnancies that I would take the three hour again within a couple of weeks. Sure enough I failed that one. I was sent to a high risk team with a new ob, dietician and nutritionist. After being observed for two weeks of my regular diet, they determined to give me insulin to take at night, because my fasting levels were slightly high. Since I have been doing good, my little one is growing perfectly 82% and she'll be here in 4 1/2 weeks. :) Try not to worry.

Thank everyone! I super nervous. Im over weight, so im sure that contributes some, but i was also over weight with my daughter and never had this problem. But, this pregnancy i have been drinking lots of sweet tea and not enough water.  :/ i dont drink much so im hoping the sweet teas i had drank throughout the week made it worse than normal. I also ate a sauage biscuit the morning before the test. With my daughter i just had cereal. So, maybe ill pass the three hour test. Hopefully.  :/

I failed the 1 hr and passed the 3 hr. The tech said that 80% of women fail the 1 hr because they don't fast for it. Best of luck! And don't throw up during the 3hr or you have to do it all over again...

I failed the 1 hr with a 168 and passed the 3 hr with numbers well below the limit. Good luck.

I failed this morning as well I got 150 am mad because I got so nauseated  all day. And I need to take 3 Hr test tomorrow not sure what will happen. I hope you pass your three hours one. I drank orange juice before my test.

I was given the two hour gtt but failed it. I was never given the option for the three hour test. My Dr sent me to a nutritionist in hopes of controlling my blood sugar with diet. I have to check my blood sugar 4 times a day and so far no medication has been needed.

I failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour. I think I failed cuz I drank oj and ate tacos the morning of the test, but they said it wouldn't effect it, but I believe it did.

I have a family history of diabetes so when I failed the 1 hr I thought for sure I would have GD but i passed the 3 hr with flying colors!
