glucose test.

Ok so I hope someone answers my question this time, I seem to post and no one ever gives me advice.. well anyway. Does anyone know if in the 1hr glucose test results are affected if they test you before that hr..

It's says normal range is 139 I got 144.. so I'd they did it to soon it might of affected it.. I would think and I'm not taking about a min too soon I'm thinking more like 10 mins..

Yeah I'm not complaining a few minutes but how cone she started my time as soon as I checked in she hasn't given me the drink and I hadn't drunken it.. in the past they have timed be when I show then I'm done.. plus then they took me in 5 min before 8:20

I work as a nurse and agree with the above post. Couple minutes not a big deal 10+ not accurate. The lab i went to was very prompt about getting mine drawn at exactly the right time. Good luck!

Well I got there at 8:20 and the lady right away said I'm going to start your time now so your blood work should be done at 9:20 they hadn't even given me the drink.. then I got called in five min earlier.. not sure exactly what time I finished the drink..

Not sure, but I would say it depends on how much earlier they tested you. I would think if it was just a cpl minutes then it would be pretty accurate but if they tested like 10 minutes early or something it could give you wrong results. I failed my 1 hr but passed the 2 hr test (they give an option of a 2 or 3 hr glucose test where I live). Good luck

I went for mine last week....next appointment is Dec 3rd..wonder y dey ignore some post...with me I have to tag it with pls help!!!!
