heart burn

Any one have home remedies for acid reflux or heartburn? I have the worst. Currently 38 weeks along.

I did just 1 tsp of plain yellow mustard only took about 2 minutes to kick in and lasted all night! I've tried baking soda in water and that just makes me throw up everything in my stomach! Laying down makes it worse!

Lay on your left side. I also brushed my teeth (after normal tooth paste) with baking soda. The baking soda will neutralize the acid in your esophagus and stomach because you'll swallow a little bit.

Tums. Great for heartburn and the calcium in tums is also great for baby :)

can I just ask..as I have awful heartburn with everything I eat too..how long does the mustard help for and the only types of mustard I know of are english or french (im from UK) which type do you use?

Thanks I will try it. I'm on prescription pepcid.. it does nothing for me. Everything I eat gives me heartburn. But only one week to go and maybe this will go away when I deliver

I even carry packets I my purse. I get super weird stares when I bust one out and down it. Lol

Mustard! Plain, yellow mustard. A mouthful works azillion times better for me than any tums or rolaids. Even better than zantac and pepcid for me. Doesn't taste the greatest but it works!!!
