heartburn/acid indigestion relief?

I am 21 weeks and have day in and day out the worst heartburn/acid indigestion ever. Nothing seems to be working and my doctor told me to take liquid mylanta or maylox. I went looking for both of them and couldn't find either. When I came home and googled them it seems that they have been taken off the market.  Is there anything else that is safe to take....anything that will give me any relief at all???

I have had the same problem. You should drink a cup of milk to neutralize the acidity in your esophagus.

I know that feeling i had a lil girl with a head full of hair which is what caused my heartburn. But try herbal  mint tea! And find your trigger foods & avoid them as hard as it is. I hope it goes away mine lasted years after my child came.im a gerd victim :-/

I am in the UK and doctor prescribed omeprazole which really helps. I had it from the very beginning of pregnancy and the pain was so severe!
