Only thing that has worked for heartburn has been a teaspoon of bicarb soda mixed with a glass of water. Sometimes Rennie tablets can help in the day, and they're pretty instant but to get through the night only bicarb works for me.
I had heartburn so bad during my first trimester that it sent me to the ER several times. I took Pepsid AC the doctors said it was safe during pregnancy that is the only thing that worked for me. I tried everything from Zantac to home remedies but nothing worked besides the pepsid. Its over the counter. For the nausea i pretty much just ate small portions and often. I am 31 weeks and still most morning get nauseous. Hope this help hang in there hope it gets better.
I have such bad heart burn. I drink milk as often as I can also try to stay away from acidic foods (spicy foods, red sauces, high sugar ect) also don't lay down for at least a half hour after eating. For nausea I drank lemon water and sucked on life saver spearmint mints it helped abd so did the anti nausea medicine I was prescribed. Try eating smaller more frequent meals to. Sometimes an empty stomach is making u more nauseous then if u ate a little something
For heartburn hubby makes me eat apples (hate apples) with basil... And also drink lemon water.
Sea bands do help with nausea. I still want to vomit but not as bad.
For heartburn I eat an apple it'll work within the first 10 min after eating it and nausua I hardly let my stomach get empty. I'd eat a few crackers before getting out of bed. Hope this helps
I live in Europe and we have something perfect for heartburn, works in seconds. Called Rennie and it is safe when you are pregnant. For the rest I have heard that some peppermints might help and vanilla yoghurt. I can imagine you getting sick of heartburn
I used tums for heartburn (doc said they're safe) and sea bands for nausea. I tried ginger for the nausea but it aggravated my heartburn. The sea bands I thought, for sure, we're some kind of hoax, but they worked for me! I hear they work for around 70% of people. I wasn't cured, but it took enough of the edge off the nausea that I could finally eat something.
Sour cream for heart burn and crackers for nausea.
