I never had my wisdom teeth removed when I was little cause we couldn't afford it, they eventually grew in and luckily came in straight. However , my bottom left somehow got infected & I got a cavity well the pain was so horrible I couldn't talk eat drink nothing. I went to the dentist and he scheduled me the next day for it to be removed. Since it already grew out I just got numbing injections and he just pulled it. I was 16w pregnant at the time. I feel 100x better now, hurt a few days after but totally worth it

i also know that an abcess tooth can cause u to go into preterm labor. My oral surgeon prescribed me this mouthwash called PERIDEX, it's relatively in-expensive and it really works well. I have a wisdom tooth that is causing me a lot of pain and he wants to wait as long as possible to pull it. With the peridex i think i can make it through the last 15 weeks w/out getting it pulled until after he is born. He told me to pour it in the cup thing and take a qtip and stick it on the place where it hurts. I do that then i rinse my whole mouth with whats left in the cup cuz i got a few more bad teeth that arent painful yet. It works really good and is safe for baby, you can only get it with a prescription though

tylenol. an occasional vicodin won't hurt, what they worry about with those is long term use can cause the baby to come out addicted to opiates. Call and tell you dr whats going on i'm sure they will tell you the vicodins okay if the pain is totally unbearable. Vicodin is mostly acetaminophen anyway which is what tylenol is
