irritable uterus?

Has anyone been told they have a irritable uterus? Did it calm down after you relaxed (for a few weeks or month)?
I have had a hard pregnancy hypermesesis (I think that is how you spell it) for the past three months in and out of hospital for it and dehydration, a urinary track infection, kidney stone you name I have been dealing with it this time around (third baby).
So today I went out to buy some baby stuff (boy stuff third boy go team blue) while I was shopping I started having contraction like pains so I went home to relax. After a few hours laid down I still had pain so I called the hospital (I am only 21.5 weeks) they told me to go in for a stress test. Showed cramping but not to bad at that point and baby is happy. But they said I have an irritable uterus and no more shopping and minimal walking/ moving around to just rest. They said it might be from being so sick and all that fun stuff.
So after my long winded note here I am mainly wondering if anyone had this before and If it calmed down or went away completely after a lot of rest? I forgot to ask while they must be pregnancy brain. I do plan to ask more at my next Dr appointment.
Thanks if you took the time to read this.

I had this also. Just given birth very recently.
I was diagnosed at 24 week's and I had severe morning sickness my whole pregnancy - admitted to hospital for rehydration 13 times.  It would come and go for me, but the contractions became constant from 35 week's gestation until delivery at 38+3 weeks. I was given steriod injections at 37 weeks so they could perform caesarean at 38+3.

I was also having extremely bad luck with UTIs I had 6 during my prengnacy.

I hope things improve for you soon - all the best!
good luck!

I was diagnosed with an irritable uterus at 20 weeks, and have been in the hospital 5 times related to these contraction pains. I continue to get them every day, but most times I can get them to stop by drinking a lot of water, resting, and not letting my bladder get too full...quite a crazy balancing act.  I was put on light duty at work and my family has been amazing, helping with household chores, etc. After, I get home from work I essentially lay down to rest. I'm now 31 weeks. I wish I could tell you the irritable uterus contractions went away, but at least they can be somewhat manageable.  I have also learned if you are ever worried, just call your doctor and get everything checked out. I wish you all the best.

Yes! I had irritable uterus because of kidney stones causing a UTI. It went away once I began to be treated for the stones, thank goodness! My stones still haven't passed, but I'm not having the contractions and pain like I was before. I also had hyperemesis. I wonder if there is a correlation, or if it's just bad luck.

Thanks yeah the few family members I know who have had it ended up having their babies early. I plan to do as much relaxing and have been lucky my husband is being so awesome he does everything he can to help out. They haven't put me on bed rest yet hopefully I can avoid that but will be sitting and laying as Mich as possible with two boys lol.
