is it bad to lay on my stomach?

I'm 12 wks 1 day today, and I like to study and read on my bed, lying on my stomach since it's how I feel most comfortable. Is it bad for my little one?

You'll know when it's not ok. When your stomach is big enough and it's uncomfortable for baby, they will let you know and it will feel painful to do so. I cannot wait to sleep on my stomach again!

You will be too uncomfortable to lay on your belly by the time it would hurt baby. I am also a tummy sleeper so it is starting to get tough for me! 24 weeks. I jus lay on my left side now.

A doctor once told me that its good to lay on your stomach in the beginning because it helps the bag build and be strong

It's safe until it's just not comfortable anymore. Then you'll know.

You know... im not sure what research says but I've laid on my tummy with all four kiddos up until I couldn't physically do it anymore. They are all fine.  I know they say the left side is ideal but thats never been comfy for me :/
