I have been pretty itchy, normal for me in winter, but more so with pregnancy. I find that a detox bath followed by heavy lotioning (un scented lotions only, and coco oil). In the bath i put erosion salts, baking soda and a couple drops of lavender oil. Soooo nice

I have had ICP (intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy) in both my pregnancies. It is nothing to mess around with. I am currently 33 weeks and they were about to induce me at 28 weeks, but due to the Ursodiol working, they held off. It is dangerous to not only you but to the baby as well. They will induce me early due to the fact of a huge risk of still born past 38-39 weeks. Please call and let your doctor know! Even if they think you are crazy. You know your body best. By the way, the itching is almost always worse at night and mainly effects the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. I have it there, but my legs were also severe in the itching as was the rest of my body. Good luck ladies and have a good rest of your pregnancy!

I was diagnosed with chloestasis at 30wks and they're now inducing me early, it's better to get checked out! Only thing that has helped me with the itching is aveeno oatmeal baths and the aveeno oatmeal cream for relief of itching! Goodluck

It might pay to get out checked out because it can be related to gall bladder/liver problems (cholelithiasis). Hope you feel better soon!

An antihistamine might help. Benedryl or claritin...I also slather on body oil.
