just wondering if anyone else is going through this...

All day today my boyfriend has been playing video games. I felt alone, which made me depressed. Once i made dinner he didnt even want to eat right away. He was playing a game. I ate and when I got done, he started to eat and play the game at the same time. I asked him when are we gonna watch our new movie, he didnt respond. Which made me worst. So i started to fall asleep, but instead he woke me up. I put the movie in, he went outside fora smoke and came back and came back and started to play a game on his phone. I told him i wanted to spend time with him and never did. He is sleeping now and i cant sleep. I just need a friend to talk too. I feel sooo depressed. I cant even enjoy my movie. Please help with some advice or something. Thanks for the help all.

I'm sorry you are feeling alone. Have you talked to him about your feelings? When we are pregnant our hormones make us super sensative and we get emotional over any little thing, even things we weren't emotional before pregnancy. I would suggest you have a serious talk about your feelings with him and tell him that its not good to feel depressed while pregnant if what's making you depressed can easily be solved by some attention. Good luck!

You should talk to him calmly. My bf plays videogames too but for him its a stress reliever. Maybe your bf has a a lot on his mind right now. Try to b calm and remember your emotions can get the best of you.

I think the most important part of any relationship is communication.  Talk to him about how tonight made you feel and ask that he reserve some time for you.  Playing video games is probably his way of relaxing after a long day of work, and that is okay, but he may need to be reminded that you need some attention too.
