Been having period like pain and lower back pain for about 4 hours now. Just had my first 2 proper contractions about 12 minutes apart and 45 seconds long.  They're already painful but doable...I'm 40+6 and really just want her in my arms now! I will try to keep you posted!

I'm so jealous. I've got 7 weeks to go. I wish I was having the contractions. Anyways good luck ladies

Thank you! I'm still at home and pain is still ok, walking helps to deal with the pain. Contractions are more frequent now. Just lost my mucus plug (I think). Will head to the hospital in an hour or so, but I don't want to go just to be sent home again so will try and wait at home for as long as possible.
