large redish bumps on body

Ive gotten for the last couple of weeks what I thought were like spider bites but aren't. They're big red itchy bumps that come one day and go away the next . I keep forgetting to ask my doctor what they are because when I'm at the office I already have tons of things to ask about. Are these pregnancy related? Does anyone know what they can be? Has anyone got them?

Oh no no worries junebaby2. Mine didn't start on the abdomen but its there now. I have some on my legs and arms, oh and on the side of my foot. Its said it would come out where all your clothes fits you tight and yupp that's pretty much it. My feet swell up so I can see where my foot got it from (shoes fit me tight) and the rest pretty much explains itself too. Will be going to the doctor asap for it too so I can get the proper diagnosis and treatment. Good luck to you

Ugh. I'm at walk in clinic now because my midwife suggests ruling everything else out first. I guess so that if it is something more treatable we can start topical treatment.  I don't have it on my abdomen at all which seems like pupps do? I get the feeling this is about to be a waste of copay though and I've probably already googled more than any of these care providers! Lol. Anybody else get official diagnosis of pupps or just putting two and two together??

I was just about to mention PUPPS too.  I read about it this week in my pregnancy book, and just saw this post.

Looked it up and yup its most likely puppps. They even look the same kind of rash on the pictures I saw. Omg but it also says ftm, women carrying more than one baby, and women carrying boys are the ones most likely to get it. I'm not a ftm and I'm praying that I'm not carrying twins bc that's been my fear all this pregnancy lol. I'm having a boy , let's hope its that lol

Keaij said what i was going to say.  I just got this on my arms this passed weekend.  Lay men's term is 'pregnancy rash' Google that and images - perhaps a better fit then bed bugs? I never even heard of this till I got it. Ma nurse said its poison oak. Mind you I've been on bedrest for months a d haven't been outside! Lol. I'm sure its the rash thing instead.

I was just reading in the what to expect when your expecting book. Its not bed bugs its called PUPPP PEP POLYMORPHIC ERUPTION OF PREGNANCY.  This causes some pregnant women to have rashes and bumps on their arms, butts back etc, and wont go away until after the birth. It says if you become very uncomfortable tell your doctor and he or she can give you a topical medication prescribed.

I was looking for my leg issues and saw this same question :-)

Yeah these are single bumps that come one day and disappear the next and are all spread out . I'll have one on my leg then my arm and my tummy. I won't get a lot and its rare but on and off. And no one else in my house gets them. Not the kids or my bf. So that's why I was thinking pregnancy related maybe. Definitely gonna ask my doctor and if I can take pics of it to show him. Thanks

I had bed bugs and they itch and do not disappear in a day... I had a "rash" that was single itchy bumps mainly on my tummy and a.few on my legs... It could be a.pregnancy related irritation that is.brought on by heat... Sweat... Or tight clothes.

Check it out. Bed bugs like to hide in the seams around the matress, in the corners. Look for tiny black specks... those are droppings. Look for eggs.... & look for babies. They're blood red & the size of a pinhead. Inspect for any tears or holes too, just in case.

Bed bug bites usually fade within a day or so. They can also vary in size from small itchy bumps to larger flat shaped non itchy ones, to flesh coloured tiny needle mark bumps.

Yes but they disappear the next day or so and leave no sign at all of even being there. I thought so too but looked it up and they're not and I can't figure out what they are. Do bed bug bites go away next day?
