leg cramps help!!!!

This is my first pregnancy . I'm going on 17 weeks and have bad leg cramps is this normal? I wake up crying because they hurt so bad!!!! Any advice will be good. I'm eating bananas and drinking lots of water and its not working I need advice.thank you

Eat potatoes like baked potatoes and drink yoohoo, they both have a lot more potassium than bananas.  That's what I did with my last pregnancy when I would get them all theway from my calf through my toes and it did wonders with them.

Take some potassium it will work like a miracle that's what's in bananas I use to not be able to get out of bed because my leg cramped up so freaking bad felt like I was in a car accident while sleep

I started taking calcium supplements and I rarely get leg cramps anymore. They used to wake me up every night they were so bad.

I started to get th around week 30. I was put magnesium and that has helped me!

I was told spinach helps too.  I had them for a while and stretching  my legs before bed helps me. And sleeping with a prego body pillow

Try having a banana before going to bed every night. It works like a charm for me.

I was told by my doc to take calcium tablets. I took one a day and it helped tremendously! I just started getting the leg cramps again in my 3rd pregnancy I'm 20 weeks and I'm gonna start taking them again.
