lovenox shots

Im 18 weeks, my dr just called this morning saying my bloodwork has shown I should be on lovenox shots once a day. I do not want to be on these shots and have my baby have some wierd side effect because of them. Im pretty holistic and am already on an low dose asprin (which I dont like taking) a day and they still want me to do this. Ive done lots of research but still im torn between following my intuition and following drs orders. They are a 'low side effect' blood thinner but I dont know if there are any unknown long term side effects as far as baby goes. Anyone know more info about this that could throw me some advice?

I wasn on lovenox injections for the first few months of my pregnancy and every thing seems to be good with baby. They said it was the medication with the least side effects and will need to be on them 6 weeks pp

sorry  to do whatever I needed to keep myself healthy during the pregnancy for the sake of my baby. hopefully will be done with the shots at my 6 week pp appt. good luck :)
