meds question

I'm 6 weeks pregnant andI'm not able to get to my doctor for a while. I'm supposed to take Omeprazole for an ulcer. Does anybody know if this is one of the medicines you can or cannot take? Thanks for you help.

I would stop cause the nurse at the dr office told me know. Try do some home remedy like milk apple cider vinegar and mustard. I found some great relief from milk.

I would definitely call your doctor or at the very least ask your pharmacist.  If it's prescription, your doctor will likely approve it unless there are serious risks, and if you can't take it, they can hopefully give you something else.

Yes you can take it. I been taking it my whole pregnancy for acid reflux and heart burn.

Can you call your Dr and speak with someone even though you can't see them? Prilosec is a category C so most of the time those are avoided in pregnancy unless there's a risk to the mother. The fact that you have an ulcer too I wouldn't be comfortable suggesting whether to take it or not. That's really a physician's decision based on your case.

You should call your Dr and ask no one on here is qualified to answer questions about safe drugs you could be getting false info from anyone around the world not safe at all. Goodluck
