membrane sweep?

Had a membrane sweep at 38.5 weeks, how succesful are those? I'm 2-3 cm dialated Dr said.

Current recommendations is NO vaginal checks until regular contractions. A membrane sweep would definitely be against current medical recommendations. Even then once labor has stared it should, checks should not be based on time, but mom's signals on labor.

My doc started me a few weeks before you had yours. When I went into labor at 37 weeks, I was 3-4 cm dilated so I think it helped
