Same thing happened to me during my first pregnancy. I opted for the D&C instead. Didn't wanna deal with any pain or spontaneous bleeding after such horrible news. Don't lose faith. After the miscarriage is complete, you'll be able to try again.

Since you're having a missed miscarriage that's why you still feel pregnant and have no signs of a miscarriage your body is trying to hold onto the pregnancy even though the baby is no longer living most of the time the body will not pass everything on its own that why you need to take the pill or have a d&c

Come to find out I miscarried about 4-5 weeks into my pregnancy!  I cried about it for weeks and didn't have sex again for 2-3 months after! Now, I'm 28 weeks with another boy! Sorry for you loss hun!

I had a missed miscarriage last year.  My baby stopped growing at 8 weeks and when they did my next ultrasound at 12 weeks they realized the problem.  They gave me the "miscarriage pill" before they forced me to get a D&C.  The pill started working within 30 minutes.  It puts you into mild contractions, but I didn't have to wait it out because they surgically had to remove my baby because I was technically in the 2nd trimester.  It's an awful experience that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, and I'm so sorry you are going through it.  Keep your chin up.

I gave myself about 4 days to process and recover. Then I started going back to the gym regularly. If you can pass everything without d&c I would think it's better and less invasive.  I know some women got back into trying right away, but it took me a year to be ready again.

You will need a heating pad and someone there for support. Warm/hot Baths and some cozy blankets and/or pillows may bring you some comfort....

I wanted to skip the d and c because I figured it would be better for my body...but maybe I will call and schedule it...she said since the ultra sound didn't show any blood or even a start of miscarriage that I could think about it for a few days and then decide...bit I just want it over with...

How long after the pills worked were you able to start working out again? I have a son who is almost two ago that's helping a lot...but really I just want to work out. ..that helps clear my head...and I didn't ask the doc how long to wait to work out...but I'm suppose to go back on 24hours after I pass eveything...I'm really scared of the pain, She gave me pain meds...she said it may feel like labor...

I wasn't able to pass the entire pregnancy and ended up with a D&C. I didn't want to do it at first because I heard it makes it harder to conceive later, but I actually got pregnant about 6 weeks after. It was unpleasant, but it minimized the amount of time I bled, and the cramps were a not nearly as bad.

I had to go through that last year and I was at 12 weeks. Went to get the ultrasound and there was no heartbeat. Really sorry to hear about your loss. Yes I took some pills and inserted a pill down there too to help pass eveything. I had fever and sever pains Abdul night. Doc gave me some extra strength Tylenol for pain. Next day I had mild cramps and felt pretty good physically. Pregnancy symptoms stuck around for and Lleida while and that makes it really hard to move past the loss. But eventually my body was back to normal, I started a new exercise routine and felt better. It took me a while before I was ready to try to get pregnant again... I'm really sorry about your loss...

I had a miscarriage for my first pregnancy last December. It was kind of painful it felt like bad period cramps. Eventually I had to go in for the d and c. Then bleed for about a week after that.  It can be a little scary but hang tough.  I just focused on the fact that some reason that baby just wasn't as healthy has she or he could have been. I got pregnant 3 months later and am now 38 weeks. Try not to stress, it will happen when your body is ready.
