Almost everyday I've felt something like the min I turned 14 week's.. But now I'm 15 week's and a day. I felt nothing today.. I was surprised to feel my baby that nearly at 14week's... Maybe he or she is moving she doesn't feel him or her when they do....
I think she will take an appointment elsewhere. Thank u
I don't really know what to suggest. I can imagine she's really stressed. I've never heard of any doctor doing that at 14w. They should have checked with a doppler or an ultrasound if they thought there was a problem. IF she had had another missed miscarried (and I'm not saying she has) the priority would be getting the fetus out ASAP - not waiting for 3 more weeks.
If she can she needs to speak to another doctor or a midwife who can check the heartbeat with a Doppler or a scan so she knows what's happening.
She is very worried. She had a miscarriage last October at 5 months. Her baby heartbeat had stopped and she did not cramped or bleed. It was found ultrasound.
Well I wouldn't expect her to feel anything until 16w at the earliest. So she certainly shouldn't be worried about not feeling anything now.
But I really don't understand why a doctor would expect to feel a 14w fetus from the outside. That is very, very peculiar.
She had some flutters at 14 weeks and today she told me that she has not feel anything for the past few days.
No. They did not use a doppler or do ultrasound. They had put their hand on her belly I think to check the position of the baby and trying to make him move.
It's unlikely for a first time mum, it would depend how big her uterus was. Not sure what you mean by 'checking her belly' - do you mean they couldn't hear a heartbeat?
