Does anyone else have calf cramps at night that leave a sore spot on your calf muscle the next day?

Eat more bananas for potassium and flex your toes up instead of down. I had Charlie horses every nigjt in my 1st pregnancy and it would leave my muscles stiff and sore making it hard to walk. I asked my doctor what to do and she said eat more bananas. This pregnancy I've been eating lots of bananas amd I try to flex my toes up. So far I've only had like 1 or 2 at the most.

That happens due to lack of potassium. Try eating a banana a day that should help.

Im sure i was a sight to see (if it wasn't the middle of the night) when i was walking around with my foot stuck pointing down, so i was walking on my toes on only one foot, half asleep, in awkward pain. Lol. Hurts more now with my sore muscles!

I've been getting that alot lately and throughout the day it goes away but I find myself flexing my calves in my sleep. Not intentionally of course, I have rls and I wonder if its not my body's way of dealing with that.

I find it happens when I stretch my legs and point my toes downward, which I do often in my sleep. I've had it happen with all 3 of my pregnancies but have been told to up my calcium intake but I think mine is more related to the way I stretch.
