I play lullabies, and piano music....i also read a book i have called bedtime stories, it has all the stories in it, from pinnocio, to cinderella, also read Walt Disney books, and stories like alice in wonderland, wizard of oz. I have lots of books.
This will be my second child, with my first i read to her all the time while I was pregnant and even after. She is now 11yrs old, she loves to read, and she has always read above her grade level. On top of that she is very smart. Straight A student. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with me reading to her and playing music, but I'm just going to do the same with this one.
I listen to country and I always turn music on in the bathroom when I get ready in the mornings he seems to like it as well as his 2 yo brother he dances along lol.
I play any calming music mostly classical but not much. I sing to him mostly and read bedtime stories :)
I'm 26 weeks and get a reaction every time I sing :) namely, she becomes completely still. She never ever kicks when i read to my son so i figured she must be listening.
I play classical music in the car just cos I'm a weirdo and she seems to react to that too.
Ive been reading to my older 2 children so since i found out i was pregnant i was reading to him too.
I'm 29 weeks and I just started reading stories to my baby. It's cute because baby kicks like crazy when I read to him or her. :)
