my baby finally arrived!

Yesterday at 41+5 i was due for an induction. However i woke at 4am having contractions so waited at home till about 10:30. My contractions wernt becoming regular or any stronger so my waters were broken at 2pm this didn't help either so was started on pictocin at 4pm. Contractions started getting a lot more intense until about 9 when i started pushing.
I gave birth to my beautiful son using only gas+air at 9:28pm weighing a lovely 9lb 6 oz. Was home and in my own bed by 2am. He's perfect and i couldn't be happier altho he still has no name. Good luck mommies and thankyou for all the support x

In the UK you only need to stay in a minimum of 4 hours after delivery as long as baby has been checked by a doctor and is not your first. This is my third baby so they were happy to let me go. Thanks ladies x
