need some help. scared!!!

Hello ladies, I hope someone can put my mind at ease. I found out I was pregnant last saturday so today marks 5 w 2 d and last night i noticed twice when going to bathroom and wiped i had very lite pink discharge no cramps or anything. It seems to be gone now but should i be worried cause i am and husband and i been trying to have baby for awhile and dont want anything to go wrong. I do havea a dr appointment on thursday but its jusr with nurse to go over all paperwork and stuff like that.. Can anyone help me understand what happen yesterday.. Thank you so much

just wanted to keep everyone updated- I am still having lite spotting every now and then so I called the doctor and she wants me to have blood work today to check levels and again on Wednesday to see what my levels are two days later. Then I guess we will go from what we find out- please keep your fingers crossed that this is not a start of a miscarry I am really nervous but I am trying to stay positive- Thank you again for all the words of wisdom everyone gave. I will keep everyone posted on what happen.

Thank you so much for all the help i am going to take it easy and rest all day. If it happens again then i will either go to er or call doctor.. I will pray it stays away and my appointment on thursday will ease my mind

Keep your feet elevated as much as possible and drink water and rest

To ease you're mind I don't think a pink tinge is anything to be worried about because some women bleed during they whole pregnancy but the doctors do recommend you going to the ER if you are having pinkish or brown or bloody discharge to be on the safe side so if it really worries you then you should go for you an the baby safety. If it worries you go to the er...or just wait to see your doctor. Either way I wouldn't worry so much because stress is no go for early pregnancy.. Just relax you will be fine

I'm not sure? I had the lite pink "blood" or whatever it was. Maybe it could be a UTI and you just aren't experiencing the need and urge to urinate? Just, if it was me, I would keep my eye out for you, take it easy today, drink only water and cranberry juice (just in case), and I would call my on-call doctor and see what they advise- if I started feeling something and saw the discharge again. I know you said you have to meet with the nurse practitioner, so I'm assuming that means you don't have a specific OB yet (that's what I had to do)? But if you call the office they will connect you to the on-call Dr.

It happened to me too and the drs only made me freak out even more. Instead of telling me that it happens to a lot of women they kept talking about thretened miscarriage just to cover their ***. They know its normal but won't say it. I was sent for an early pregnancy scan at 7 and 10 weeks and all was normal and still is due in 9 weeks. If its only small amount of blood in your discharge don't worry it'll pass it's only if there's lots of blood when you should start worrying. I wish someone told me that when I was freaking out.

I am going to the restroom normal with no pain or anything i always drink tons of water and it is very common for me to have discharge kinda heavy but like i said i just noticed yesterday i had lite pinkish in it. So far today i have not noticed anything and no discharge.

This could be implantation bleeding but not to worry call your doctor u should be fine. Also some cramps are normal due to a spreading uterus..

That happened to me when my husband and I first found out as well. It freaked me out so bad I sent pictures of it to my mom and cried. She told me to try and remain calm, and as hard as it was I did. My husband and I went to the ER that same morning and found out I had a UTI (which is extremely common during pregnancy). They gave me antibiotics and told me to only drink water and cranberry juice. Are you frequently going to the restroom or at least feeling like you have to go? Does it hurt to urinate?

Should i call my doctor today? Or just wait till i go in on Thursday? And no we did not have sex and was not doing much of anything yesterday when i noticed it. I am just really worried about it.

Dont be scared this happened to me and I will be seven months next week...the doctor will tell you that you are threaten a miscarriage only because there's blood which is not normal,but it happens to a lot of women. They put me on bed rest and pelvic rest. They also did a sonogram because I went to the er to be safe. This my second child and it happened with my daughter too. Don't be worried..if you had sexual intercourse than u notice the blood its because of that...sex can cause blood if its rough
