overweight bmi and pregnant

Hi ladies, i hate that this is a worry but im 5'8 (curvy, busty and big booty small waist)and currently 178 im only about a month and a half preggers....so happy dont get me wrong but 200lbs+ is unhealthy not only for me but for baby.....i had intended on trying to drop 25 30 after i tried last month to conceive and had no luck...so i figured i could lose some weight and be healty for when i did become pregnant but god had a different plan and. I am happy.....uggh. just so worried....i am already insecure as it is and dont want to be one of those miserable pregnant women who strave themselves and worries 24.7 about there size. any suggestions would be great.

For me I tend to become over weight when I'm pregnant. I start of normal for My weight but gain uncontrollably. My first pregnancy I started at 110 and weighed 180 by the end gaining 70 pounds with my second I started out at 130 because I got pregnant again so soon (4 months after having my first) and I went back up to 175 and now that I'm on my third I'm only 12 weeks anns have gained 17 pounds already. I eat normal healthy as I can and with two little ones I'm chasing all day i stay pretty active. I used to be really self conscious about my weight but not so much anymore since I know I can lose it after and that is just how my body reacts to pregnancy there isnt much I can do about it. It will be ok don't worry about the weight as long as your thing to be healthy

Im 5'7" and weighed about 175 with my first and finished at 203 I lost a bunch after having her and was at about 155 until new years and vacation earlier this year... when in hit 175 again ugh lol. I got prego while on vacation and I'm on track to weigh about the same this pregnancy.  Dont worry unless your doc is concerned. You'll drop it fast after baby is here

I started at 170, I'm now 37 weeks and have gained 50. I started off sayin I would never weigh over 200lbs, which I now do. It is really hard to come to terms with. I see pictures and feel huge! Just try to be as healthy as you can for that little baby... the numbers on the scale will go down (that's what I'm telling myself anyway )

Well I started out 20 lbs heavier than what I wanted to be when I found out I was preg.  For me pregnancy is horrible (morning sickness, constipation, heartburn) if I don't eat super healthy.  So I end up not gaining much because of that.  So just eat what will make your body feel good.  I ate a lot of fruit and veggies cuz they didn't make me sick.  And I ate 5-6 times a day, small amounts to avoid heartburn.  And I drank lots of water.  You'll know what your body needs.  I had my baby a week ago and I'm only 16 lbs heavier than my prepregnancy weight.  And my uterus is still shrinking.  Good luck!  You'll do great!
