period while breastfeeding

Any moms that breastfeed can tell me when they got their period after having their baby? I had a csection and bled almost the whole 6 weeks after, my baby is 9 weeks today.

I got mine a month 1/2 after giving birth to my daughter.

I nursed (no bottles) for 14 months and i got my period about 5 or 6 months after my daughter was born.  And they came back with a vengence for a few months!

Never got one while breastfeeding any of my 3. (13 months, 17 months, and 9 months)... We'll see with this one.

I breastfed for 16 months but got my period back after 12 months.. Right on my sons 1st birthday! Lol

I got my period 4 months after delivery with both, and I breastfed for 11 months with my first and 1 year with my second. I think it's different for everyone.

I got mine around 2 months after my csection, I don't think I bled for very long right after the surgery though... Maybe two weeks. I had a lot of trouble with milk supply though, that may make a difference. I'm not sure.

I got my period right away and I breastfed for a year. I was so very disappointed

I breastfed for 3 months and I didn't get my period untill she was 4 months old.

Some women get their periods while breastfeeding. If you are lucky and don't, then you can likely expect to not have one until you start weaning. This might be something like a nighttime and morning feeding only. And if you get pregnant while weaning, you might not have a period until you wean your next baby. Haha...guilty.

I started my period after 6 months around the time Istarted feeding my baby more solid foods about 3 times a day.

I don't get periods while breastfeeding....so for me 1 year for my first 2 and 15 months with my second. Although I did have some spotting around 13 months for a few days

With both my little ones, I got my period back around 9 months - just after they stopped regularly night feeding. So if you bf frequently enough, you may find your period stays away for a while. On the other hand, some ladies get their period back a lot sooner. So it's hard to say. Hopefully you get lucky.
