Thank u all for the help.

My BP was low in my last checkup I had. But tjis abfomrn pain is not letting me cook. If I lift something of little weight yhen the pain starts. I feel little swelling like in the area where I get pain ehen pain reduces even that swelling disappears. One positive thing is the pain is not towards upper right its towards upper middle of abdomin. But my baby movements are very poky and harsh sometimes so that makes me even more worried. As preeclampsia affects placenta as well that is oxygen supply etc...

I was eclamptic my first I passed the pre part super bad.

You would be looking for things like high bp(blood pressure), frequent and bad headaches, swelling, pitting swelling(you can press into your swelling and leave a dent that will take a while to fill in again), protein in your pee.

This is my 2nd pregnancy with it. As the other ladies said the most obvious signs are high bp (over 140/90 over a couple of readings at least a couple of hours apart) and high levels of protein in urine. I had upper right side abdominal pain that they kept brushing off saying it was because of my preeclamplsia, turned out my gallbladder had quit working and had to be removed in emergency surgery. Your liver is also in that area and your pancreas, ligament pain can extend pretty high, as well as after 24wks baby is big enough to get there feet up there. So there are a couple of things it could be. If it continues call your dr and I'msure he will have a feel of it and do a urine and/or blood test. I hope everything is ok, good luck.

The first sign is high blood pressure, then you got protein in the urine i got those two in my last appointment they send me to get blood labs and a 24 hours urine collection, still waiting for the results

Protein tests threw urine samples you give when you go to the doctor. As well as your blood pressure reading. Your baby probably positioned all up in that area. If it doesn't subside you can always call your doctor and they can advise if they think it's something different.

I had it with my first. Usually you get it near the end of pregnancy. Your Dr doors a protein test with your Urine and that usually determines it.

Upper abdominal pain can be from the baby... Not a sign of preeclampsia.
