questions....

Hey guys I have a few questions.. Was hoping to get some help.. I'm 13 weeks and last night my stomach felt extra bloated it seemed.. Thought maybe I just a ate to much.. Then in the middle of the night I had turned over and had a sharp pain go up my side and like over my belly.. And I'm having some discomfort like on the side and on top of stomach.. I know sounds weird..this is my first baby.. And I can't get in with my Dr & first Dr visit until the 27th.. Does anyone know what it could be?? Gas maybe??

Second question..

I know it's a little personal.. But
My bf is scared to have sex with me.. Early on in pregnancy we had sex and I spotted for like a few drop's.. But haven't since.. I told him it was because the blood was flowing more then.. That's what the medical site said when I looked it up... But now he is to scared to be with me.. :( is this normal?? How can I convince him its OK?!?

Not sure about your first Q. Soundd like a Q for your Dr. if it persists. As to 2nd Q, early in pregnancy spotting is usually implantation bleeding and no big deal. You could call your Dr to be sure. Also, get him reading some "for future dads" type material. Something that's not too girly. I like the Mayo Clinic's Healthy Pregnancy book.  It might helps to let him know your hormones are going nuts and since you will soon have a baby interrupting your everything intimate he might want to take advantage of your libido, providing you are feeling well! Good luck!

Some men refuse to have sex during pregnancy and the thing is at some point you will be so horny that you will want it every day or twice a day. I suggest taking him with you to the doctor and ask the doctor about the spotting after sex. Chances are the doctor will say enough to convince you both that it's normal and having sex during pregnancy is ok
