self inducing labor

I'm 37+2. Had an appointment with my midwife yslesterday that said I'm full term and it would be okay to try to jump start labor bc my son broke my rib. Besides the usual (sex, walking, spicy food, caster & primrose oil) foes anyone have suggestions that could help me induce labor?

Okay so I figjred it out. As uncomfortable and painful (bc of my rib) as it was SEX!!!! I know a little tmi but as soon as we got done, I started having really REALLY bad contractions about 1/2 later. Still having them too! Not far enough apart to call my dr get but gradually get there. I've been up ALL night is HORRIBLE pain but I'm excited!

I've heard there is a chemical in pineapple that if eaten it relaxes the cervix to cause labor.

I've heard that you can make a tea out of basil and oregano leaves, or drink red raspberry leaf tea....maybe mix the two!

Other than that, IDK....but let me know if anything else works because I have a scheduled induction on Wednesday, too.
