toothaches r so painful please please help

I have a wicked bad toothache. My entire left side of face n jaw are throbbing. Top wisdom tooth has broke n keep losing little chunks outta it and bottom wisdom tooth is swollen n hurts. Called several dentists and no one will help me till after i deliver. Im currently taking tylenol, using teething tablets (yes the infant ones) and orajel. Along with heat n ice packs.  If anyone has any tips to help please let me know i am desperate for a little relief. Oh n im 36+4, n high risk due to type 1 diabetes, kidney problems, preterm labor, and severe anexity issues. Im set for induction the 13th.

The really only way for relief is to be put on an antibiotic. Sure salt water will help ur gums but not ur tooth or infection. And im sorry but prob no oral surgeon will pull it this far along unless it is deemed medically necessary. If it is affecting ur health in some way maybe someone will pull it for u.  Ive been a dental assistant for 10 years and ive seen this happen a lot. Very sorry and hope u can atleast get something till delivery!

Best thing i found is clove oil or just chewing on a whole clove near where the painful tooth is. Also after you eat swishing warm salty water in your mouth seems to dullen the pain a bit. But def clove oil or cloves. Nothing worse best of luck.

When I had a really bad toothache like that it kept me up all night crying. I had to use salt water to brush it an make it bleed (mine was an infection) and after that I used orjel on it and placed and asprin on my tooth. I DID NOT SWOLLOW THE ASPRIN. I let it dissolve on my tooth. I realize some swollowing occured, but I monitored movement of my daughter for hours, but I finally got relief enough to sleep.

What does your doctor say? Have you gone to the ER?
