I'm only 10 weeks and mine is already doing the same thing. I'm enjoying every second of it bc I know in six months back to me doing it and I'll fix whatever he didn't do the way I like it.

I would enjoy it and enjoy in a new hobby to keep you busy. But definitely let him!!! I'm doing it on my own and would love the extra set of hands.

It also sounds very controlling. When I was with my SO earlier in my pregnancybhe wanted me to quit my job!!! I told him he was crazy because I am healthy and am not on bed rest. He gave me a lecture that the baby wasnt going to make it or would have something wrong with him. I called him Ignorant and kept my job.

While I wouldn't mind my husband taking a little more responsibility, I couldn't deal with that! I've been getting major bursts of nesting and sometimes I don't physically feel like I'm able to sit still

Can we switch!  I have 4 kids already and am 38 wks with a surprise pregnancy.  I have to do everything and the house is falling apart as the kids are 7 and under and are hardly any help.  Hubby works a lot and when home seems to be blind and goes back to work on the computer.  Sigh. I can't bend over anymore and I am tired. Sore and exhausted.

I just hit 19 weeks today and my hubby is on super crazy patrol! Don't jump, don't run, your going down the stairs too fast, is that safe, should you be eating that, you need more sleep etc! I'm not even half way there!!!! Ahhhh I'm so independent I know everyone says take advantage of all the help but it's making me NUtS!

Was meant to say I'm sure I would *find* it a little frustrating but it's lovely too.

I'm sure I would it a little frustrating but it's lovely too. Try to make the most of it. I insisted on being as 'normal' as possible doing all the usual things that needed doing because I felt good & able but I am paying for it now! Had distasis recti for months but didn't know - in a lot of pain now & it's affecting looking after the baby :(

Well i do kinda have something to do with how my husband acts
I always made sure to teach him how to cook few stuff
Made him carry stuff, made him learn how to clean my way etc
And now he feels proud in knowing how to do it

If only I had your problems. I'm 27wks with the worst back pains I've ever had with pregnancy, 2 other kids ages 20mths and 8yrs and my husband acts as tho I'm not even prego. He doesn't do anything. No cleaning, no cooking, no nothing. Everything gets do whenever I get to it. Plus I'm full time college student. You're lucky.

Aww that's sweet!! I also have things the way I like but when my hubby wanted to do any of it I keep my moth shut and just fix it latter. It's not to often he does it only once a week on his one dayoff so I try not to ask him to do it because he is the only one working. But I'm a full time culinary student and I'm 25 weeks along so it would be nice if he did more and I know after I hit the 30 week mark he will because that's how it always is this is our fouth:)
