vacines safe?

I'm at 35 weeks today and I'm wondering is it safe for me to get the flu vaccine? Or other vaccines for that matter?

I got my flu and pertussis shots this last month, since I'm having a January baby I rent him to have the antibodies. I just got them at the ob office so I knew they were the pregnancy safe ones

I got mine on Monday. Tuesday I couldn't stand up for more than a minute without blacking out.  Apparently that's a side effect of it. One I've never experienced before. But everything is fine now. The doc recommended I get it because I've been getting sick constantly throughout my pregnancy.

Yes that too. Ask for the preservative free ****. It wont have thimerosal in it which is what you don't want.

I just got a flu shot yesterday at work.  There are two things you should look out for... Don't get the nasal mist and don't get the vaccine if it comes in a multi use bottle. Insist on getting the one that comes in a single use vial because that one doesn't have mercury in it.

They won't give you the live virus one which is the nasal mist. They will give you the shot which is recommended. The only other vaccine they recommend while pregnant to protect you and your baby is the pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine.

The flu vaccine is safe just make sure its not the live virus one, most of them aren't live but just good to verify.
