vaginal infection

Hi all

I'm 9 wks and experiencing heavier than normal vag discharge with mild irritation and inflammation. Is this a cause of concern? I plan to take a lot of yogurt and avoid yeast feeding diet to control it. What else can I do? Is kefir milk OK to take during pregnancy?  This is my first and everything freaks me out...pl advise.

Thanks a lot for your responses....I will call my Dr today and see if they will prepone my appointment to monday. This will be my 1st appointment with her...if they don't answer today I am not sure if I should go to a local Gyn for the infection and keep my OB appointment for next week. It would be weird having 2 doctors.

Home treatment only works at the very first sign of the infection but once you have thick discharge and irritation only meds will help. Metrodonizole is safe for the baby. Its prescription only tough

Sorry your username makes me want cheesecake now lol I honestly would go to your doc I was doing the home remedy stuff but it worked for a short period of time...my doctor gave me some meds to take for 3 days best thing ever but yeast/bladder infections are common during pregnancy
