when to put stuff together?

Just wondering when other mommas started to put car seat or bassinet together?.. I still have alot of those things in their original boxes. When to pack hospital bag?... I am 33 weeks. Also I am having a July baby any suggestion on what type of outfit he should come home in?...

It depends. I am high risk and basically I can go into labor at anytime. I would do it while you still have some kind of energy! LOL. I am 30 weeks today and I am going to start this weekend and I am going to pack my bag :)

I hope I get to that nesting stage. Lol I am just so exhausted. I have my room semi prepared. Crib is up but no bedding. My older sons room needs cleaned bad and I need to clean my carpets upstairs and the bathroom and shower.. ughh the list could go on and on.  Do any of you wash baby clothes before or not? .. I need to put bassinet together and car seat. I have put alot of clothes away and organized it. But I still have a ton to do.

I'm 36 + 5 and this wkend I detailed my car and installed the car seat base. I also cleaned my daughter's room and I have a few big items in the boxes but I'm going to take them out and set them up tonight. I'm in major nesting faze, I cannot sit still I'm constantly cleaning and organizing. I'm going to pack my bag this week also

I am 32 weeks and have everything ready. Had my last one at 34 weeks and didn't have anything done and its hard to come home take care of a newborn and get stuff ready. Only thing haven't done is put careseat in which I plan to do at 35 weeks. As far as an outfit I got a cute shorts sleeveless onsie with little summer hat that says see ya later alligator. Which was fitting to me.. once u find that outfit you will know its the one

I put my stuff together at 35 weeks. Only to find out my OB wants to induce me at 38 weeks so thank God I packed everything & put everything together then.

I'm 36 weeks and put my bag together this weekend just gone. Felt the right time for me plus I can add to it if I've forgotten anything. You could always start your bag off and add bits as you go. Car seat etc are out the boxes and ready to be used :)

I'm 30.6 weeks and will probably start putting everything together after my shower which is in 2 weeks but I have wicked bad ocd and am a planner so I'll end up dusting vacuuming and washing again around 38 weeks. I will pack my hospital bag after the shower too maybe like 37-38 weeks. My son is an August baby and his coming home outfit will probably be a cute shirt and shorts I saw at babiesrus but I'll have a blanket in case its a weird day (new england weather is crazy)
