working out

I'm a very active 26 year old, before pregnancy and before we knew I was I worked out 6 days a week, bootcamps, running lifting weights. My doctor said it's fine to do things you did before because your body is use to it. Today I did bootcamp for the first time was a little nervous. Just wondering if anyone else if active like this? And if I should be worried?

I am almost 36 weeks and I have been working out the whole time.  I did a very vigorous workout just today.  It has only been in the last 2 weeks or so that I have cut my workouts down to 4 a week instead of 6 a week.  Like the others have said just listen to your body. Some days my body just says no so I just pick it back up the next day. I truly believe that working out this whole time has made pregnancy so much easier.  I never got sick, I still have so much energy,  and I have not gained weight but my belly is growing right on track.  Plus the doctors keep telling how I'm going to make labor so much easier on myself because I continued my vigorous workout routine. I hope this helps encourage you to keep up with your workout routines. Good luck with everything!

I ran for a until i was about 16 weeks. I still go to the gym, but running has just become to uncomfortable. Listen to your body, it will tell you if you are doing to much.

It's more of a shock to your body to totally cut out something you did so often.  Just listen to your body and you will know when you need to back off some or that something might not be as doable now that you are pregnant.

It took me a little while to feel comfortable working out again. Now I am lifting weights and using the elliptical but I feel SO much better when I do. Your body will tell you if you had too much..if if do too much if start feeling dizzy and weak and if stop immediately.  I've only gone that far once.
